With She Wolf, I worked with performer/creator Sasha Aronson to create an autobiographical piece tied to a historical character (Margaret of Anjou) who also happens to pop up in a bunch of Shakespeare history plays.
In an intense rehearsal process, I guided her through creative exercises, devising hours of material, writing songs, and Shakespearean text work. I was there every step of the way to help her select the strongest scenes she created and assemble them into a visually striking show.
I even ended up designing the lights.
